This project was a Sprint challenge. All Jefferson fashion design students were given the task of creating an Eagles shirt for Jefferson PR to wear at the Superbowl. We were to deconstruct or manipulate a top in some way as well as create a design using the words "Eagles" and "Jefferson". Myself along with six other fashion design students accepted the challenge.
My design consisted of a hooded sweatshirt with a half eagle-half underdog face on the front and "Jefferson" on the back in front of the Philadelphia skyline with the theme "Fashion Loves Football" beaded above.
Started by thrifting two long sleeve t-shirts
Making a hood out of the green t-shirt and cutting out letters from white t-shirt
Sewing letters onto green scrap fabric and embroidering image
Cutting out embroidery and sewing it to shirt
